Terms of
Business -
1. Please state clearly your full postal
address, telephone number and fax number (if any)
2. We encourage customers, by prior arrangement, to use our Cash
& Carry facility, with the added attraction of a 5% discount off
catalogue prices. Open Monday to Thursday 9am-4pm Friday 9am-3pm
3. Payment becomes due, net at 30 days from invoice date. Accounts
not settled within this period will be subject to a credit charge of 5%
for payment after 3 months
4. We offer wither of the following discounts for payment within
30 days:-
a) 2.5% on Goods Delivered
b) 5% on Goods collected from the nursery VAT strictly NET
5. Please note our revised carriage and packing charges: Orders
under £700 at despatch; please ask for revised delivery charges. Orders
under £700 other than to mainland UK; price on application Orders over
£700 FREE delivery. However, Cornwall, Wales and Scotland; price on
application
6. Please could we ask for three days notice for collection of
orders
7. When ordering please state -Delivery/Collection,
Autumn/Spring, Pot Grown/Open Ground, Substitutes acceptable/not
acceptable.
8. No order is too small for our attention but, due to the size
of the nursery, those orders of under 10 of any variety will be charged
an extra 30p per plant
9. Labels are available on request at 6p each and 7p if stapled
into pot.
10. Open ground orders are lifted and delivered/collected
between October and April
11. We would be gratedul if all orders from new customers be
accompanied by cash or trade reference and bankers name.
12. We reserve the right to charge 50% of the value on cancelled
orders
13. Special quotations for export orders. VAT will be charged if
proof of shipment is not received within 30 days of invoice.
14. Quotations valid for 1 month unless stated otherwise
15. Please ensure any complaints are made within SEVEN DAYS of
delivery/collection
